Kate Marciniec, FNP is the owner and lead nurse practitioner at Solid Wellness and Aesthetics in downtown Westfield.
She started her career in health care after graduating from Purdue in 2003, and then spent the next 10 years at Methodist Hospital, working as an emergency room RN. She then graduated from IUPUI as an NP in 2012.
Kate initially worked in a traditional primary care office but realized that traditional medicine was just helping people stay sick longer, and not preventing disease.
She started training in functional medicine in 2015 through The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and then joined a local practice that combined functional and traditional medicine, where she practiced for 6 years.
During that time, she continued her training through IFM as well as the American Academy for AntiAging Medicine, A4M.
Alongside her studies in functional medicine, she developed a passion for helping men and women look their best and dedicated hundreds of hours to training in the field of aesthetics, which she has been practicing for 6 years.
In 2023, along with her husband, Mike Marciniec, NP, she founded Solid Wellness and Aesthetics to help bring the practice of functional medicine and natural aesthetic results to the residents of Westfield.
Westfield residents themselves, you can often find Kate at WYSI athletic events, the middle school, intermediate school and Oak Trace Elementary, where all of her kids are involved in sports and activities.
